The Sporting Infrastructure
We here at Srinath University have imbibed a sporting culture, understanding that the holistic, all-around development of any student can happen with the integration of sports into daily life.
The university has an active and vibrant culture, with sports infrastructure for cricket, basketball, football, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, and alongside Indian sports such as carom ,chess and kabaddi.
Basketball
Night tournaments are a big hit on campus, and basketball is a sport that enjoys popularity among both boys and girls. Intense matches are held where teams battle it out for the top spot.
Students regularly compete on the basketball courts to establish their dominance in these spirited night events.

Football
Given football’s popularity in Eastern India, the sport has a strong following on campus too. A large number of students enjoy playing football passionately, contributing to a thriving football culture.
Table Tennis
Table tennis is both a competitive sport and a favourite pastime. Many students enjoy a game or two before meals, especially before dinner, at the TT tables near the dining area.
Volleyball
When you can hear shouts of “Block” and “Smash” you can be assured that the university volleyball squad is on the court practicing.
The sport is much loved on campus with regular night tournaments being a calendar feature.
Badminton
The badminton courts at Srinath University are constantly buzzing with activity. Students often hang out and play, even during the early hours of the day, making it one of the most engaging spots on campus.
Pickle Ball
The newest addition to the sporting facilities at Srinath University is Pickleball, a dynamic sport that blends tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Played with paddles and a perforated ball, it is easy to learn yet offers exciting challenges for seasoned players.
Its fast-paced, social nature has made it an instant favorite among students. Whether for casual games or inter-departmental tournaments, the Pickleball courts remain a vibrant hub of activity throughout the day.
